The office of Studio Legale Sutti for the Southern Milanese Province and Pavia was established in 1987, and operated by Simona Cazzaniga and other SLS’s members domiciled in the area, namely in Abbiategrasso, Vigevano and Magenta, with the mission of offering a prompt and comfortable point of contact to the numerous clients concentrated in this region. Its current premises, where SLS has been based since 1991, are located facing the Castle of Abbiategrasso, in an old building in the historic centre of the town.
Thus, over the years, SLS and Dr. Cazzaniga’s activity and achievements have been repeatedly discussed by the local press, and in particular by the weekly magazine Libertà, where the latter is often interviewed not only as a lawyer and a legal scholar, but also simply as a prominent member of the community.
In this role, she promoted the conference organised in Abbiategrasso by API-Milano – Associazione Piccole Imprese di Milano and SLS, on the 8th of March 2000, where Stefano Sutti, Luisa Zambon and Cesare Bulgheroni lectured on “How to Limit Director’s and Entrepreneurs’ Personal and Criminal Liability through the Appointment of Duly Empowered Executives” dealing respectively with the related Company Law, employment law and criminal law issues.
The Abbiategrasso office, which is not permanently staffed, is fully and seamlessly integrated with the central resources of SLS’ Head Offices, thus actively representing the largest law firm by far to enjoy a direct presence in the area. The establishment of SLS’s Genoa office, and its consequences for clients of the region of Abbiategrasso, also raised echos in the local press (see Libertà, 07/0/2000, “A Genoan Marriage for SLS”).
