Dubravka Kosic is born in Belgrade on the 26th of August 1965, where she completed her primary education, attended high school, entered law school in 1984, and still lives with her family.

of Jurisprudence of the Belgrade
University (Major: Commercial Law. Special Student Awards for all the
four years for academic achievements).
- LL.M., 1991, Faculty of Jurisprudence of the Belgrade
University (thesis: Responsibility in Multi-Modal
Transportation of Goods).
- LL.D., 2000, Faculty of Jurisprudence of the
Belgrade University (thesis: Theoretical Models of Lease Contracts
with Special Reference to the Leasing in Yugoslavia).
- Attendance to specialist commercial and trade law course
and seminars in parallel with regular studies.
Main writings:
Dubravka Kosic is a lawyer admitted to practice law
in the Yugoslavian Federation and a member of the Bar Association of Serbia
(Advokatska
Komora Srbije) since 1990, and specialises in business law, banking
law, international trade, and transportation. She also has extensive experience
in the area of international commercial litigation and arbitration, obtained
during more than ten years with the oldest and largest Yugoslavian partnership
for the practice of law, Fila Advocatska Kancelarija, often representing
foreign companies and banks in the courts of her country. She also appeared
as the signatory of affidavits on Yugoslavian and international points
of law in the Court of Milan.
Since January 2002 Dr. Kosic is the head of the Office for Serbia e Montenegro of Studio Legale Sutti.
As such she has been recommended for "Corporate and Commercial" work in Yugoslavia by European Legal Experts 2003 (of which a Web version is available here), published by Legalease, which also contains a short biography.
Her academic interests are these days concentrated on
comparative issues related to leasing contracts in various European jurisdictions.
